Let’s do our reading and writing in the psalms today, specifically Psalm 95-97.
Morning. Ps. 95. Draw a stick figure bowed down.
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” (95.6)
Afternoon. Ps. 96. Sketch a patch of trees, a forest.
“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy before the Lord …” (96.11-13a)
Night. Ps. 97. Make an illustration of a stick figure wearing a halo (representative of a “saint”).
“O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” (97.10)
