Yes, by all means do put a psalm in your heart! You can help do just that by sketching something in your Bible as you read Psalm 32-34 today.
This morning, read Psalm 32 and draw a bit and bridle.
“Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you.” (32.9)
Near mid-day today, read Psalm 33 and make an illustration of a harp of ten strings.
“Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.” (33.2)
This evening, read Psalm 34 and pencil in a broken heart.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (34.18)
